The Michigan Department of Natural Resources provided data on the occurrence of parasitic-phase sea lampreys attached to fish caught on sport charterboats.
- In 1995, 34 sea lampreys were collected from 6 management districts.
- A total of 33 were attached to lake trout and 1 was attached to a Chinook salmon.
- The lampreys were attached at a rate of 0.9 per 100 lake trout (n = 3,820) and 3.0 per 100 Chinook salmon (n = 33).
The Michigan and Wisconsin Departments of Natural Resources provided data on the occurrence of parasitic-phase sea lampreys in charterboat catches.
- In 1995, 391 sea lampreys were collected from 13 management districts.
- A total of 322 were attached to lake trout and 69 were attached to chinook salmon.
- The lampreys were attached at a rate of 0.7 per 100 lake trout (n=48,072) and 0.2 per 100 chinook salmon (n=42,486).
The Michigan Department of Natural Resources provided data on the occurrence of parasitic-phase sea lampreys in charterboat catches. Personnel from the Lake Huron Biological Station collected parasitic-phase sea lampreys from 1 commercial fishery and personnel from the Service collected lampreys from 1 commercial and 2 sport fisheries.
- In 1995, 2,697 (sport-491, commercial-2,206) sea lampreys were collected from 12 management districts. (6 each in Canada and United States).

- The lampreys were attached at a rate of 2.8 per 100 lake trout (n=3,345) and 6.4 per 100 chinook salmon (n=5,818).
